The Wire is a monthly magazine that specialises in a diverse spectrum of avant-   garde and experimental music.  The Wire is an independent, monthly music magazine covering a wide range of alternative, underground and non-mainstream music

This magazine font cover has a simplistic and modern look to it. The blue colour palette gives it a sense of serenity. the writing is quite evenly spread out, not clustered and has spacing between individual letters. This allows the audience to read and interpret it quite easily. There is direct mode of address, as the artist is looking straight at the camera making the audience feel engaged and involved.  Underneath the title is an artist’s name. The title is in a large bold font, positioned at the top, in the middle to  grab the audience's attention. The theme and layout of this cover is quite cool and desaturated with calm shades of blue.
